I've been a huge supporter of Strava in the past, including being a paying member since August 10, 2014! I've been heard saying "if it's not on Strava, it didn't happen". Yet I noticed yesterday that I was struggling to post a link to our 5k, it would get removed from the post, and removed from my comments.

Now it seems they've also removed all of our historical links?!? WTF guys!

As an example, I had linked to the FKT site and my youtube video of my Circum Quabbin FKT and now both of those links have just vanished in my post. Many other times I've posted link to the actual results of a race and now those are gone too.

I'd treated Strava as my "workout log of record" and I'm getting hit with the hard lesson that you can't trust a company like this. Multiple big misses recently for the company.

I even held out Strava when I deleted all of my other socials. I'm going to have to rethink my use… Of course I still want to see what my friends are up to, but deleting all my past links is rough. Cancelled the renewal, at least:

And cancelling is hard! Took me a couple minutes to find the link. They made the link incredibly tiny, while the other are buttons that are big and colorful. Dark patterns, anti-user UX. Shame on you, Strava.
