Using LLMs to extract story perspectives at the character level is an idea I've had in my head for awhile. This is pretty neat.

The story itself will correspond to one of the sample paths of the game tree.

Adjacent narratives at play (a Peter Dodds idea).

Shakespeare selects the most interesting story from the behaviors that are rationalizable.

Pretty short proof of concept paper. What's kinda cool is that they build up all possible adjacent narratives in a "game simulation" and get the LLM to assign probabilities to the random choice events. It's a cool idea.
