Fuzzing, formal verification, and in-between
I'm not the first to become interested in verification, but "formal verification" means something specific. See Geoffrey Huntley joining Antithesis.
If you've worked with Claude Code, perhaps especially Fable, you'll pretty quickly realize that you ability to produce software is only limited by your ability to architect and test it.
The answer from Antithesis seems good, and is maybe the right take. To understand their take, watch the video Huntley links to, it's worth the time.
Formal verification is with systems like hypothesis. I had Claude lay this out as a levels of specification, and hypothesis lands somewhere in the middle. It's not full formal verification of behaivor, like a Lean proof or a Dafny assertion, but it's way more precise than a written description of a feature than a BA.
This is not well thought out here - just putting down some notes that I'm interested in the topic and I'm going to be exploring it more.
